My Journey to Becoming the Coach I Am Today
A decade ago, I reached a pivotal moment when I sought medical help, realizing I could no longer continue on my existing path. Experiencing significant burnout and overwhelm, I found myself struggling with simple tasks and recognized the need for support. Following my consultation, I began taking prescribed medication to manage my mental health.
Determined to regain balance and well-being, my objective was to eventually discontinue the antidepressants and realign with my former self. I immersed myself in music, took up running, and maintained a regular journaling practice. Joining a "Couch to 5k" group at work provided both structure and community. Through this experience, I not only learned to run but also developed invaluable interpersonal skills and discovered a passion for coaching. After achieving my 5k goal, I realized my aspiration to become a running coach. Continued efforts toward personal growth enabled me to discontinue medication within six months, reach the 10k milestone, and assist others in accomplishing their goals.
A few years later, I enrolled at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) to pursue certification as a Level 5 Health Coach, allowing me to guide others holistically in their journey toward self-improvement. Integrating nutrition, movement, and enjoyment, I strive to support clients in achieving their individual objectives. Additionally, I became a Level 1 Triathlon Coach to complement my enthusiasm for outdoor sports.
Today, I am committed to helping you achieve your highest potential and discover lasting happiness.
